No Waste Concepts
Bring your story to life
My goal is to visualize the sustainable stories of companies and organizations and to inspire and activate customers and employees with this. I fill my chairs with your story by using your waste, residual flow or history and process this in a set of chairs. It is a beautiful way to break the ice and tell your story right away because you are literally sitting on the story.
I am all about creating activating, memorable and functional artworks that also tell a powerful story. Check out my previous collaborations and designs below and become part of the No Waste movement with your organization. Fill a set with the company, or let me fill them. Start the change today and tell your own story with No Waste Chair.

Swap bike

The pioneer in sustainable mobility, Swapfiets, will introduce the first 100% circular bicycle in 2025. With their current bicycles, already the most sustainable in the industry thanks to smart design and circular parts, they reduce their waste by 66% and extend their lifespan. To emphasize their commitment to circularity, Swapfiets unveiled a 'No Waste Chair' in their Amsterdam store on Black Friday, against mass consumption.

Centraal Museum Utrecht

Together with Centraal Museum Utrecht we wanted to make a statement to visitors. During the first part of the exhibition ''Chair Take Stelling'' we asked what the visitor found the most disturbing waste. Thousands of ideas came in and we finally chose food waste, bones! I boiled a slaughtered cow completely clean (made soup and stock) and cleaned the bones and incorporated them into the chair.
Colmar Original

Together with Colmar we have created a manifesto against waste. 20 unique chairs shared the story behind Colmar with the public during Milan Design Week. With this campaign we informed Colmar customers about what Colmar is doing to combat waste and climate damage. They aim for high quality and plant trees in nature reserves.
ICI Paris

In the pursuit of sustainability, we turned the ''Bring Back Your Bottle'' campaign into a visual masterpiece with ICI Paris. Each perfume bottle that has been returned has now been immortalized in two unique copies, which have been raffled among the members of ICI Paris. In this way, we not only give materials a second life, but we also involve our valued community in this concept.
No Smokey Chair

50,000 cigarettes. 50,000 bends. Pick up a cigarette and put it in your pocket 50,000 times. That was the route of these cigarettes. Zandvoort beach was clean for a while.
Coca-Cola

During the waste-free week we cleared a large area of waste, which contained enough Coke cans to make several chairs and tell this story.
Beach Clean-up Foundation The North Sea

In collaboration with the North Sea Foundation, we cleaned up the entire beach in the Netherlands and made various chairs from the collected waste, including this one with beach waste.
J5 Sneaker Store

In collaboration with a unique sneaker store that also resells second-hand pairs, we created a chair for their store, made from old scgrouse.
